From One Student Question to an Innovation Ecosystem

What happens when students are given access, mentorship, technology, and the opportunity to build? FSTEL is the answer.

ACCESS — Where It All Began

FSTEL started with a simple belief: innovation cannot happen without access.

The journey began by sponsoring and upgrading the school computer lab at SK Jenderam Hilir to improve access to technology and digital learning opportunities for students who otherwise had limited exposure.

"Technology should never be a privilege. It is a gateway to possibility."

— A student at SMK Tebakang, 2025

In 2025, during the first year as a Teach For Malaysia Fellow, a student Googled the mentor's background and asked one question that changed everything.
